I always wonder this about people on the road.
Myself?
College Upperclassman. Hard science major. early-mid 20's.
Used plenty of drugs in the lower levels of college.
All my big hookups from back then have failed out (surprise)
But need consistent hookups for harder drugs: SR.
Dress across between hipster and skater.
Drugs of choice: Opiates (3-4 day binges, then quit b4 wd's), Blow (at bars, when I have $), occasionally MDxx
Drugs of hatred: Weed (hate the feeling)
What about you all?

Well educated, mid 20's.
Have plenty of RL hookups but the prices are insane for everything. (Past five or so years the price of a pill has gone from 1 to 10, weed gone from 160 to 280+ per oz)
Dress: Jeans and something with a hood.
Music: Rock, Rap, Electronic - No chart, pop or tweener crap
Choice: Weed, 24/7. Some psychedelics, LSD twice a year maybe. Shrooms if im in amsterdam. MDMA i only do now when I feel like I have something big about to change in my life, i'e to help me make a decision about something. ( i used to be crazy on this stuff, every friday to monday without fail, earphones in, jaw clenched and ready for raving.)
Cant stand: I hate alcohol, cant fucking stand it. Beer, Spirits you name it. Im not a fan of the culture or the people who have deemed it fit to tell me what i can and cant do while they guzzle down their substance of choice, become violent and cause harm to others or themselves be it mentally, physically or verbally. This is tough for me as im originally from the land of Guinness and drunken fools!

I used to drive a cab in an east coast city. One day I was parked near a school, and I saw a fight break out between few black dudes on a basketball court. It was basically one guy versus two. The two guys pulled out knives, and I thought something really bad was going to happen to the one guy. I was getting ready to call the police, when all of a sudden the one guy's mom comes running in screaming. She pulls him away by his ear. The other two black guys just fell down laughing.
While it was pretty funny, I had seen too many fights, and I honestly didn’t feel safe where I was. At that point I had pretty much decided I had it with the east coast. I decide to pick everything up and move to the west coast that day and be a cabbie out there.
Believe it or not, on the first day of my job on the West Coast, the first person to get into my cab was the same dude whose mom pulled him out of the fight. My mouth was pretty much just hanging open due to the extreme level of coincidence. I started to ask him what the hell happened, and he interrupted me mid-sentence and just said "Yo homes to Bel Air"
thats similar to my story. One day i was driving my car on the West Coast when i saw a bus with flashing police lights ahead. I assumed a dangerous situation was happening so i jumped out of my car swam across the river to a restaurant and called my football coach to tell him i was safe. While he was glad i was safe, about a year later i was driving my car topless through northbridge at 10am on sunday morning when the same police officer from that original dangerous scene pulled me over and warned me that it was infact too dangerous for me to remain on the west coast.

Or even better has anyone here acheived the revs medallion? Its a task akin to climbing Mt Everest but if anyone could do it, it would be SR users.

A lot more bad stories than good. My first tour when I was young, my first year in the Navy, we started our tour at sea. While at sea, one of my departments job's were to find the people blown overboard. I was the one who manned the RHIB (rigid hull inflatable boat) and juts on the first tour I took, we lost 3 people. Before then I was never put in the position to save someone's life, and it put a big impact on me.
Another job of my departments was to stand on the bridge where the captain usually sits, and use the mounted binoculars to search for foreign objects or other ships while we were at sea. While I was doing my duty standing one day, I was watching the flight deck, they were about to launch a helicopter. The retractable blades on top were raising and starting to spin and something went wrong, one of the airmen tried to call an emergency stop and stood up to do the arm signal. One of the blades caught him on the head and decapitated him.
Had a lot of stupid people in the Navy as well. We stood watch on the back part of the ship at night, to watch for foreign objects and ships as well. This one new guy, not from USA, called up to the bridge for an unknown flying red object in the sky around 11pm. It was the moon behind clouds.
Also, a funny one. When your at sea, and doing the back of the ship watch, at night, you run over shit tons of jellyfish. Well, ground up jellyfish tend to glow. Lol.
One of my favorite times though at sea, were swim calls. They'd stop the ship and put certain people on duty to do "shark watch" and they'd let people jump off the jet elevators into the ocean and have swim time.
My favorite part of my job was, I was a Master Helmsman. Which means I am one of the few people allowed to steer the ship through wartime and during high speed turns and times of launching aircraft.

See, this bums me out, I wanted to experience this, minus loosing people or seeing heads get cut off.
I was told by one old timer around here that was navy he went to almost every continent while in service..

Yes I am def admitting it, nothing better than snorting up a couple IR 30's soon as I get out of work. Then a glass of wine and a fat bowl of some fire when I get to the crib helps me work on my notes from that day's sessions...lmao

I smoke weed and hash daily, I take mdma once in a while for shows, I drop LSD/Mushrooms on rare occasions either for a fun, giddy trip or something deep and spiritual but I always get a spiritual experience off mushrooms.
I also just recently kicked out all NBOMe's from my drug diet! I tried to like and get into the NBOMes but they are just fucking garbage and feel very toxic to the body. Though I still had a little fun with them.
